Preparation for the transport of industrial machines

Transportation of industrial machines is relevant not only during the relocation of industries and factories, but also when buying or disposing of old equipment. The right choice of equipment will make the transportation of industrial machines as carefully and accurately as possible. For example, equipment with a lifting capacity of up to 5 tons allows you to transport lathes, and equipment with a capacity of up to 3 tons easily transports bending machines.

However, not all equipment can be transported so easily. Woodworking equipment requires a completely different approach for transportation. First, such equipment must be disassembled and divided into sections and, as a result, the necessary transport must be selected, focusing on the weight of these sections. It is easy to see that the delivery of such industrial equipment will be much faster and more reliable if the carrier has a wide fleet of specialized vehicles.

It often happens that the installation and dismantling of equipment is required during cargo transportation, it all depends on the types of machines. If there is a need for such work, only highly qualified engineers are involved. In addition, you need a good specialist who will control the loading and unloading operations. If you treat all this as responsibly as possible, the transportation of industrial equipment will pass without the slightest problem and damage.

Preparatory work for transporting equipment

It is impossible to transport any industrial equipment without preparatory work. A reliable specialist is always required before transporting the equipment, which fulfills the following points:

• studies in detail all the technical documentation of the equipment being transported;
• determines if there is a need for dismantling;
• assesses the condition and dimensions of machines;
• takes into account all doorways through which the equipment will be carried out at the loading and unloading site;
• selects the necessary loading equipment and all the necessary packaging kit;
• selects the appropriate vehicle for the shipment.

After the specialist has finished preparing and analyzing the transported equipment, a team with loaders arrives and performs all the necessary work. After the industrial machines are securely fixed in the car, cargo transportation and further installation of equipment begin. If the transportation is carried out for new equipment, of course, preparation work is reduced.

Procedure for transporting industrial machines

The presence of a well-planned progress of work significantly makes it possible to accelerate the transportation of industrial equipment. If everything is done well, the downtime of industrial machines will be reduced to a minimum.

Most often, the progress of work during the transportation of machine tools is as follows:

1. Dismantling of machines in compliance with their technical documents, clearing the area to the point of loading itself;
2. Disassembly of equipment into small elements, there is a need for this;
3. Packing the machines, affixing the appropriate marking, as a result of which the installation of the equipment will be carried out much faster;
4. Loading and fastening of packaged items of equipment using special fastening structures;
5. Transportation of equipment along a pre-selected optimal route;
6. Unloading at final delivery point;
7. Installation of equipment and further launch.

Almost always there is preparation of the place for unloading equipment. Before installation, it is checked whether there are enough spacious corridors for transporting machines, and an appropriate place is prepared for the assembled equipment. If necessary, foundation work can even be carried out. Installation work always requires the supply of the necessary communications.
